Hi.
Is it possible to create custom fields in the CRM and is there a demo of the CRM somewhere?
Thanks in anticipation
Hi Kevin,
There will be demo versions of all apps so soon. On the other hand, you can add custom fields to the certain Apps with the Custom Fields App. Let me know with the further assistance please.

Thanks, Melda.
1. Are you able to confirm that the Custom Fields App will allow me to add fields to all elements (contact/company/deal) of the CRM app as one of the "certain Apps"?
2. Presumably the CRM synchronises with the base akaunting module and picks up details?
3. Is there any difference with app options whether I am using akaunting on app.akaunting.com or self-hosted?
4. Do you have a timescale for the app demos?
Sorry for all the questions but I work extensively with CRMs and clients require custom fields quite a lot. My current client is looking for a strong CRMaccounting package and I've been very impressed with akaunting accounting.
Hi Kevin,
No worries, I will be happy to help. Regarding your questions above.
1-Custom Fields App is working integrated with the CRM-Companies and CRM-Contacts pages only.
2- Yes that is right.
3-No there is no difference while using the CRM app either on Cloud or Localhost.
4-Unfortunately I can not give an ETA right now. However, when the all apps are ready they will be published on akaunting.com.
OK, thanks, Melda.
I'll keep an eye out for the app demos
Hi Melda
I see that the CRM add-on is now available on monthly payment - if I pay for a month to try it out, can I then cancel without any commitment for the year?
Thanks
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time from the Website's Subscriptions page. In such a case, you won't get support and updates after the subscription period ends. Please visit the akaunting.com/terms page for more info.
Thanks for getting back to me Melda
That's fine - I will be testing it out for a month for a client and then if suitable we will set up a separate akaunting account for them and probably pay annually
I've just purchased the CRM module add-on app for a month - disappointing that there is no automatic link between my existing sales module customers and the CRM or at least the ability to "import" them from the sales module to the CRM module (likewise for companies)
Or have I missed something?
Could you let me know regarding my question about linking existing contacts in the sales customers/purchases vendors modules to a newly installed CRM app module. Thanks
