No apps can get installed

I made a new Akaunting 2.0.11 install, from Softaculous/Cpanel on PHP7.3. Everything works well, but the app installation. No apps can get installed at all, free and paid as well. No clue on what's going on. When I click install, Akaunting tells me it is installed, but then it is not listed as installed, and there are no new fonctionalities added.

My web host assures me that the installation using Softaculous respects all the technical requirements, including PHP extensions.

The installed applications, both free and paid, are downloaded in the "modules" folder, but are not enabled. The problem is therefore on the Akaunting side.

I'm looking forward to using the applications I bought. Does anyone have the solution?

Hello Pascal,

You should ask your hosting provider to be sure that PHP CLI executable file is defined/working and its version is 7.2.5 or higher.

You can also set the proper PHP CLI path and set it in the .env file of Akaunting like the following:

PHP_BINARY="/path/to/php"
