MTD - Making Tax Digital for VAT

We are a small business based in the UK and we have been using Akaunting for almost three years now. We are very satisfied with the software but now we are facing quite a big issue with MTD (Making Tax Digital is the new way the tax system works in the UK since 2019). What we are proposing here is to find a reliable Akaunting developer who willing to develop the app for MTD. We also willing to participate (pay for development) and we do not ask for any rights for the app (module) nither for the source code. The developer or development company will own it and will be allowed to resell it on the apps store. What we need is this module to run our business and help other businesses in the UK to enjoy this great software.

We have checked your two published apps in the Apps directory and that's a very good reference. It's very important that someone maintain the app in the future.

Do you know approximately how long will it take to develop this app?

Hi Tony,

Glad you liked the apps - I do have long term plans to maintain apps in the Akaunting ecosystem.

To estimate the effort, a baseline requirements needs to be established as the integration can be done both in a quick way or with features such as reviewing, keeping history, etc.

If you have any requirements documented, then I can look into that OR I can prepare a document and can send for review.
