alternative to quickbooks online

I have been a Quickbooks user for decades...probably 30 years. I reluctantly switch from desktop to Quickbooks online a couple years ago. I hate it and need to switch to something. Looking to discuss with someone who has made the QBO-to-Akounting migration. (ideally using the built-in tools) I think this requires the cloud/hosted version of Akounting though. I run 2 companies both of them small so manual entry of accounts and customers etc
would not be a huge inconvenience. One is IT consulting and the other is real estate rentals. I have a couple basic requirements:
1. electronic invoices via email/sms
2. support for multiple currencies. USD and BTC (bitcoin) (looking at zaprite for btc invoicing but ideally could do it natively in accounting system)
3. online sync with bank and credit card accounts ideal - minimally need ability to import via csv or other data format
4. time tracking with ability to track hours and mark as billable to client - this is main source of income for it busines.
5. expense tracking - ability to purchase something for customer x and track outstanding billable to include with next invoice for customer x.

would love to talk with someone from Akounting about this before i invest more time. I spent a fair amount of time doing git repo sync and got it running locally. Not 100% clear which apps i would need to satisfy above and what the limits of cloud vs self hosted are.
