Financial Year Closing Balance Issue

Previous financial year closing balance should become current financial year opening balance.

Why carry forward not working

I don't understand why Akaunting develop a half baked cake . It is very frustrating
as for the moment it is unusable unless make some invoices.
Hope there will be more development and fixed any missing issues.
