Hi Mohammad,

Firstly please check this; https://akaunting.com/docs/user-manual/settings/taxes You can create your own specific tax and tax rate and you can see this option in your invoice or bill.

Yes I created the tax, but the it is applicable as exclusive. What if I want to create an invoice with tax as inclusive. For example, a product price is Rs.500 including tax.

As of now I've to manually calculate the price and tax. Is there anyway to automate it just like price + tax.

When I create an item, it has option to add tax. No option to select either the tax is exclusive or inclusive. So it means, I have to create two copies of same product, one with exclusive of tax and other with inclusive of tax. It would be very helpful if there is a small checkbox to select if price is inclusive of tax, otherwise, price will be exclusive of tax.

Hi Mohammad,

I explain for you a little bit. Actually this issue not complicated.

You can create new item with tax and after you can remove your tax in your invoive or bill. All you can do just selecting in select box "Tax Exempt %0" thats all.

'Tax Exempt 0%' means you are removing the tax completely. This is not the intended requirement.

Let me explain a little bit more.

For example, when the case is tax exclusive and tax is 18%, it will calculate Rs.500 + Rs.90 = Rs.590. When tax is inclusive, the same should calculate it as Rs.423.73 + Rs.76.27 = Rs.500.
