No hint for existing items while creating bill, search

While creating a bill, the input item does not give us any hint that the item type is an existing product.
It should automatically appear as we type a few initial letters of the items.

And type to search button is not working on any page.

And Does PL (profit/Loss) is included in the Double-Entry app?
