Not accepting email addresses with .au domain

Hi all,

I'm having issues with adding my email address to my Akhaunting user account, because I'm using a .au email address, this is relatively new in Australia.

Is there any solution to this? Currently I'm getting "The email must be a valid email address."

Which is a little frustrating.

Is there an update to resolve this? or is there a config file I can edit in the backend?

Currently running on Ubuntu 22.04, on prem server.
