Reset Akaunting

Hi all,

how can I reset Akaunting (Settings, companies, all transactions, invoices, bills etc. all of the records)?

PS: without remove and reinstall the Akaunting packages.

By "reset" do you mean "take it back to the original default state after installing?" I am assuming you have unwanted data and setting changes you would like to remove. Your safest option, in my opinion, is deleted everything and re-install. That way all data integrity is maintained.

If you want to take to the risk, you will need high level security access to your database (MySQL, MSSQL, etc.) You will need to manipulate the data there, but... BE FORWARNED, YOU WILL MANUALLY HAVE TO MAINTAIN REFERENTIAL DATA INTEGRITY.

So in conclusion, I suggest removing entirely and re-installing.

Akaunting using soft delete on the database. I would like to reset all data tables like a refresh installation.

Another thing is; If the company has any transaction, you can not delete the company.

1) just create another empty database,
2) remove .env file
3) reload your domain.
4) yield.
