Roles and Permissions when self-hosting?

I documented an a GitHub issue for this problem, however it was deleted without explanation unfortuantely: https://github.com/akaunting/akaunting/issues/2769

We made great use of the user roles and permissions before version 3.0.0, however it seems as if it is no longer possible to edit or modify Roles and Permissions in the application, even though the data still exists in the database. After upgrading, our old roles and permissions still exist, thankfully, but we cannot modify them.

I see there is a new app for "Roles and Permissions" but it is cloud-only. Is this feature coming back to the self-hosted version? If not, why was there no announcement or warning about this removal of a critical feature?

I see from other discissions that it is "not available anymore".
This is unfortunate, It seems we will be staying on the working version (2.1.35) until a replacement becomes available.

Hello,

We're working on making the Cloud-only apps available for On-Premise users, but under the Lifetime plan only, which price will be the yearly plan x 7.

Best regards

Thank you for the response.
A blog post explaining the future plans for the self-hosted version of Akaunting would have been greatly appreciated, because without any public communication it comes across as if you're trying to push everyone to the cloud like Atlassian did. A clear announcement that this is not the case would ease concerns.

Thanks Denis ! But...

1) I tried to buy the woocommerce app but it's stalled and ends with "Operation not permitted"

2) I tried to add the Bank Feed app to my cart (on-premise lifetime) but nothing happens ...

Could you take a look please ?

Hello Pierre,

1) That generally happens when your card is not open to international and/or multi-currency transactions. Can you please enable it and/or use another card?

2) There was a glitch, and it has been fixed. Can you please try again?

Best regards

@Denis

Verry nice, verry nice - that sounds good that the lifetime model has arrived.
First question if a large qty of modules are purchases will there be any discount? or will the price just be static?

Ex. if I'll like to buy 10-20 modules and I'll thereby have to evaluate if the price of $5-10k is too big. Compared to alternative all-in-one solutions to lower prices.
Would hope that there are some bundles? or is on the way too?
