Extend Forms

I would like the idea to be able to add additional fields to existing forms. Example. I would like to add a Company Registration number to the Vendor form or the ability to add Banking Details to the Vendor form for EFT.

Thanks Marnus, custom fields for customers/vendors should solve this problem.
