XBRL and UK XML Gateway

This will be written with the UK in mind, but some information may be relevant outside the UK such as XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) which is an international standard developed by a non-profit, which is also used by the UK's Companies House, amongst other countries.

The United Kingdom has a government website which centralizes a lot of information relevant to residence and businesses. They have a page on the site of approved software for filing accounts electronically available here:

Not a single solution there appears to be free or open-source, so Akaunting would be a beautiful addition to the list if it's feasible.

Does it sound interesting to try to be a provider, or is that not really something Akaunting would be into if an App could be developed to add some UK specific Electronic Filing functionality to Akaunting?
