One Click Update Missing & Notes Not Editable

We're new to Akaunting. Only just installed a self hosted version in the last month (v3.1.8). We now have a notification within the app that a new version is available. According to the docs, there is a 'one click update' button on the dashboard. This button does not exist for me... is this a feature only offered to a paid subscription? Have since updated via command line.

Further to this, the reason why we were keen to try the new update is, we've noticed we can set a default note (in invoice settings), but you can't then edit a note on the individual created invoices themselves. You're either stuck with the default as you wrote it, or you can choose an account from the drop down list, that puts useless information about the account (Account Name, Currency... but not actually payment information). Once you've chosen one of the accounts, it also overwrites the detault text, that you can now also not edit or remove. This does not seem like correct functionallity? Is this a bug, or have we done something wrong during the original installation?

Seems part of our experience is we had installed dyanamic notes, which is also broken as when you try to change the text, you click save, a message says its succesfully saved, then the text returns to the way it was.

Whether this is coincidence or not, I also started having some 500 internal server erros, so ran the 'php artisan cache:clear' command, and now I can save edits to the dynamic notes once more.

Hello,
You can read this documentation for one click update (https://akaunting.com/hc/docs/on-premise/update/)

Also You may have broken the akaunting because you are doing the updates in a vague way. After the 500 error, I suggest you read this document to see what the error is

Hi Cüneyt Şentürk,

As mentioned in my orignal post, the one click update button described in your link does not exist for me.

Furthermore, I'm not sure what you mean by my vague way of updating, as I followed the manual process specified on that very same link.

Hi Cüneyt Şentürk,

It would be much appreciated to hear a followup to my issue. If the forum allowed for attachements I'd show you a screenshot that no option to update within the applications GUI is available with my installation.

It's disappointing to not have a reply on this, and there is still no actual button available for one click update on my installation, but I finally found the URL that the link would actually direct you to...

If I type this URI manually (https:///akaunting/index.php/1/install/updates) I can get to the udpate page, and all updates fine (sort of... I had to change some file ownerships for the installation to be successful.

So to reiterate the fundamental issue. When the dashboard notifies me of an updated version is available, there is no button to click to access the update page.

Should have made mention, obviously the above isnt a full URI, but I removed the actual domain name of my akaunting installation for security reasons.
