PHP Fatal Error After Update to 2.0.11

I'm getting this error after upgrading to 2.0.11:

How did you perform the update?

I replaced all the files manually. As the auto update wasn't working.

File upload won't work. You should restore a backup and try the update again.

I restored a backup, did the update which updated it to 1.8.13

now when I again go to Update page, it gives me this error:
Whoops, looks like something went wrong.
