Unable to update core on upgrade from 3.0.10 to 3.0.11

For those that this may help....

I received a notification saying a new update was available for version 3.0.11 but when I try and update from the command line I receive the error
"The command php artisan update core 1 failed.

Exit Code: 1(General error)

Working directory: /var/www/html/Akaunting

Output:

Not able to get the latest version of core!

Not able to update core!"

I have had similar problems before - once relating to the fact that the update process was trying to be run against a delete company ID - and the php artisan cache:clear issue reported elsewhere.

The solution was again to run the update process with php artisan update core 2 3.0.11 {where the number 2 relates to a different company number}

It seems that it needs a specific company ID number(displayed in the URL when you select a different company) and the specific version of the upgrade file before it will run without error.

While the company number is specified, it does seem to upgrade the version for all companies regardless.
